Elizabeth's Pizza To Go
Its great fun making your own pizzas with your favourite toppings (with just a little help from a grown up).
Portions: 4 Pizzas to Go
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- 4 small tomatoes, diced
- 4 tablespoons corn kernels (canned or fresh)
- 4 tablespoons pineapple pieces (canned)
- 4 button mushrooms sliced
- 4 tablespoons thickly sliced ham, diced
- 4 tablespoons hard mozzarella, grated
Pizza Base
- 4 small plain naan breads or pita bread
What You Need
- 1 knife (for chopping, you may wish to get a grown up to do this for you)
- A chopping board
- 1 spoon
- An oven proof tray
- oven gloves or mitten.
Method
- Preheat an oven to 200°C (you may need an adult to do this).
- Place the naan or pita bread on to the oven tray.
- Mix the tomato sauce and diced tomatoes together in a small bowl.
- Spoon 2 tablespoons of the tomato mixture onto each pizza and spread it out with the back of the spoon so that it covers the bread.
- Sprinkle over 1 tablespoon of each topping on the pizzas, finishing with the cheese.
- Place the pizzas in the hot oven (you may wish to get an adult to do this for you).
- Cook the pizzas for 15 minutes, so that they are hot and the cheese is melted. Remove them from the oven using oven gloves.
- Serve. Yummy.
