Classic Bloody Mary
One of our favorite pre-dinner drinks, especially in Summer. As one of our friends says, with all those tomatoes, it should be 'one of your five a day'. Well, we're not sure whether we agree with him, but they are very easy to make and very tasty.
Ingredients
Bloody Mary (in highball glass)
- 1 large jigger (60 ml) of vodka
- 200 ml of tomato juice
- 1 celery stick
- 2 tsp of lemon juice
- pinch of celery salt
- pinch of ground black pepper
- dash of Tabasco to taste
- 2 - 3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
- horseradish to taste
- ice cubes to chill drink
Method
- Place ice cubes to chill highball glass, then add jigger of vodka.
- Add lemon juice, tobasco, horseradish and worcestershire sauce, then fill glass with tomato juice.
- Add pinch of celery salt, pepper and celery stick.
- Mix drink with celery stick.
- Drink!
