Set on the historic Old Monnow Bridge, Monmouth Farmers’ Market brings together local growers, bakers and artisan producers on the fourth Saturday of each month. Shoppers stroll along the medieval bridge sampling organic meats, free‑range eggs, freshly baked bread, preserves and seasonal fruit and vegetables while enjoying views of the River Monnow.
The market is run by volunteers and supports sustainable food production in the Wye Valley. Regulars recommend arriving early for the best selection and chatting with stallholders about their farming and cooking tips. It’s a relaxed, community‑focused market with live music and a distinctly Welsh flavour.
