Often described as eclectic and world famous, the Nelson Farmers' Market at Founders brings together region's produce, seafood and meat in the historic location of Founders Park. Come along and meet the farmers and producers, sample their wares and buy knowing that the price you pay goes directly back to the people who did the hard work.
Come down to the Market for every thing from organic meat, such as lamb and beef, and fresh and smoked seafood. A large select of seasonal vegetables, such as tomatoes, eggplant, lettuce, beans, potatoes, carrots, parsnip, pumpkin, zucchini, peppers, cucumbers, artichokes, fennel bulbs to name some. Not forgetting the seasonal fruit, like apples, pears, plums and peaches. Also Nelson & West Coast honey, artisan breads, cakes, jams, preserves, chutney, pickles, sauces and spreads.
