Cheese and Walnut, Prunes in Prosciutto

This combination of ingredients make tasty little nibbles, that take no time at all. The prunes are filled with cheese and walnuts and wrapped in thin slices of proscuitto or speck (a specialty of Northern Italy).

  • 100g soft goats cheese or camembert, rind removed
  • 20 walnuts
  • 20 prunes, pitted
  • 20 slices speck or 10 slices prosciutto, sliced in half lengthwise

Method

  1. Cheese and Walnut Prunes in Prosciutto: Place the two cheeses in a bowl mix together with a fork until well combined. Place a generous teaspoonful of cheese and a walnut in each prunes. Roll the prunes in the speck or prosciutto and secure with a toothpick. Serve
