Bathurst Farmers Market sets up at the historic Bathurst Showground on the fourth Saturday of each month (third in December). From 8 am until midday, regional growers and makers sell fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, cheese, bread, honey, preserves and handcrafted gifts under the showground’s grand old pavilions.
The market is run by a local not‑for‑profit and offers a relaxed way to sample the Central Tablelands’ produce, chat with farmers and stock up on seasonal treats. Check the website for dates, especially at Christmas time.

The market takes place at the historic Bathurst Showground on Kendall Avenue (Great Western Highway). Visitors can enter via the showground gates opposite the aquatic centre; there is plenty of free on‑site parking.
Bathurst railway station is about a ten‑minute walk away, and local buses stop along the Great Western Highway close to the showground.
Look for the signposted “Farmers Market” entrance on Kendall Avenue.
