The Te Puke Produce Markets, held every Thursday from 4pm till 6.30pm, sells products that include Smoked Fish, Artisan Organic Breads, Baked goods, Honey, Local vegetables and fruit, Chilli Products, Free Range eggs, Real fruit icecreams and chilled drinks, Vegetarian Dishes, Prime aged Beef and other cuts of meat, Fresh brewed Coffee and a great selection of seasonal products which add to the markets variety. All products are produced and located in the Bay of Plenty district.

The market was produced from interest from the Te Puke Community to the council who then initiated the market by providing funds and support to establish the market. We started off as a Farmers Market but soon found the local Te Puke Producers were not able to populate the market so we had to adjust our criteria. We are now a thriving little twighlight market which on a monthly basis enjoy themed markets and local entertainers.

The market itself is run in Jamieson Oval, Part of Jubilee Park, which is off the Commerce Lane Carpark in Te Puke. It gives the market a great market feel and has plenty of room for expansion. We have a back bone of incredible producers which make the market a regular weekly event for locals to shop.

We still have much growing to do but we are well on our way to being the best little market in the bay with huge support from the local community and council.
