Pour around a sixth of the batter mixture on one half of a waffle iron and spread it out with a wooden spoon so that it coats it well. Place the half of the waffle iron over and leave it to cook for a couple of minute. When it is ready turn it out and keep it warm while you prepare the remaininf waffles.
To Serve: Serve the waffle whole or in cut into sections onto 6 serving plates. Place two peah halves in the centre of each plate. Place a generous scoop of vanilla ice-cream beside each seving of peaches. Dust the waffles with icing sugar and serve.
