These canapés are easy and quick to prepare but look and taste impressive. You can simply slice the cucumber or you can cut the slices into shapes using small shape cutters eg. stars, hearts and fluted cutters.
Prep: 15 minutes
Cucumber and Smoked Salmon Canapés:
1 cucumber, ends trimmed and cut into slices around .5mm thick
250g crème fraîche or sour cream
300g smoked salmon
1 jar of salmon keta
Canapés: Place a small slice of smoked salmon on each cucumber slice followed by a teaspoon of crème fraîche or sour cream. Using a small knife finish each canape with a little keta. Serve.
These can be prepared up to an hour in advance, stored in the refrigerator.
